A pair of Collared Doves have frequented the garden here in Barnehurst for years, though they won't have been the same birds the whole time. Lately there's been no sign of them. Today one landed on the roof and was being 'buzzed' by a Ring-necked Parakeet. This came down briefly - and in a somewhat ungainly fashion - on the tiles, something I haven't seen these birds do before. They're either in the air or in trees.
A younger Fox, with a tidy, pale-tipped tail, walked through the garden in daylight.
